Italian Festival

Saturday night Kevin and I were antsy to get out of the house...we figured we would just go to dinner somewhere...but then I saw the paper, it mentioned that our town was having an Italian Fest on Saturday until 10pm.  We decided that would be a nice change...we weren't expecting much....it was only about 2 or 3 blocks long...but it had all the things Kevin needed to have a good time...Beer & Food!  And then there was a little play area for the kids.  OMG!  Dakota had a BLAST!  He LOVED it!

1st was the slide...we went on this 6 times before the end of the night!

He even was climbing up the ladder by himself....

Then we moved onto the bounce house...we literally had to drag him out of it...he LOVED it!

I think that we had just as much fun watching....he was falling all over the place, imitating the other kids, trying to figure the whole thing out...and squealing at the top of his lungs...he was having so much fun!

Last, we hit the pony rides....

It was 10pm before we knew it....and Kevin was in his glory...all the food stands were giving away their left over food as we were making our way to the exit...you might have thought he won the lottery...LOL!

  We had so much fun...and are now really looking forward to the Oktoberfest at our local German Club...Dakota's gonna enjoy it so much! (and there is also great food & beer for Daddy)
