Santa & Gingerbread Houses

We took the kids to see Santa...and it went EXACTLY like we thought it would......
Darby screamed bloody murder!!!!
But afterwards, we were walking around the store...and she was pointing at Santa, waving at Santa, screaming Hello to Santa....it was so cute!  Maybe next year will be better?!?!?
Dakota really wanted to make a Gingerbread house this year...so "George" (our elf) found a kit that contained a "village"...thought that could be a perfect "family time" event.

It went pretty well for our 1st attempt....here are our finished products....
The kids had fun...and that is what it's all about.  We will give it another try next year.
We went to the Holiday party for Darby's class a pre-school...and it was nice.  Her teacher was so nice to give every student a stocking with all kinds of goodies in it!
She also had the kids make all kinds of decorations for us...I LOVED everything :)

And Dakota bought me this when he went to the Holiday Bazaar with Grandmom....
He also made some creations at School....
I love having their work around the house...and they are so proud to see it on the wall for everyone to see!
